I spent six weeks of my summer here, and I couldn’t have chosen better.  The school was very organized and the staff communicated with all of the students—including me very well.  They provide homestay or very affordable housing options in Annecy, which is one of the most beautiful and somewhat expensive areas in France.  It’s ideal for nature enthusiasts like me.  Their classes are very well organized, and all of the instructors are enthusiastic and care about their students.  Although my instructor, Gladys, was newer to teaching, she spent a lot of time trying to tailor the class to all of our interests and really cared about us as students.  The school also provides many activities such as weekly drinks, paddle boarding, hiking, visiting the beach and local museums, and city tours to socialize with other students and make you feel welcome. We just had a great week in Ifalpes.  Annecy is a beautiful town with lots to do and see.  The school is nicely located a walking distance from the old town and the lake.  The administrative process was easy and friendly.  Best of all our teacher leandre was excellent.  Very engaging, supportive, and encouraging if participation. Hello. I originally booked for 2 weeks but extended for an extra week as really enjoyed the classes. I did one of the more intensive programmes and was assessed as A2 which I believe was a good fit. There were only 7 to 8 students and I liked the challenge of having only French spoken to me. The school is small, friendly and caters to relatively young university students from around the world and to those individuals like me who just want to learn or improve on their French without prepping for any exam. The school had a friendly, welcoming environment, lessons were engaging and the teachers were really passionate about helping us improve. There was a diverse age range from adolescents to retirees, with a very social atmosphere so made many new friends from all over the world. Annecy is also a beautiful city and has lots of opportunities for hiking, water activities on the lake, and a beautiful old town to explore. Highly recommend.
