  I spent six weeks of my summer here, and I couldn’t have chosen better.  The school was very organized and the staff communicated with all of the students—including me very well.  They provide homestay or very affordable housing options in Annecy, which is one of the most beautiful and somewhat expensive areas in France.  It’s ideal for nature enthusiasts like me.  Their classes are very well organized, and all of the instructors are enthusiastic and care about their students.  Although my instructor, Gladys, was newer to teaching, she spent a lot of time trying to tailor the class to all of our interests and really cared about us as students.  The school also provides many activities such as weekly drinks, paddle boarding, hiking, visiting the beach and local museums, and city tours to socialize with other students and make you feel welcome. I did one of the more intensive programmes and was assessed as A2 which I believe was a good fit. There were only 7 to 8 students and I liked the challenge of having only French spoken to me. The school is small, friendly and caters to relatively young university students from around the world and to those individuals like me who just want to learn or improve on their French without prepping for any exam.
