Get my personalised quote"I almost chose the Alliance Francaise. I'm so glad I didn't. KLF is personal, warm and genuinely effective. The cinema sessions alone are worth the trip. I arrived speaking zero French — I left having real conversations with locals after just 2 weeks."
"The small class size changed everything. My previous school had 25 students — I barely spoke. At KLF I spoke French every single hour. The teacher targeted my exact weaknesses. Fastest language progress I have ever made."
"Bordeaux completely surprised me. I expected a generic French town. I got a UNESCO city with the best food, wine and culture I've ever encountered. KLF integrates all of it into the learning. I've already booked my return for next year."
Perfectly normal questions — here are the honest answers.
Who are my classmates?
Your classmates are adults from all over the world and diverse background: from University students to young professionals or mature student. All share the same aim: learning and improving their French language skills thorough a full immersion in and outside of the classroom.
Do I need to know French before I join?
Not necessarily. Some people enter as absolute beginners and some people at intermediate and upper-intermediate level. Whatever your French level is, you will be sent a test before coming and join the adequate level according to your knowledge and your objectives.
Where can I stay during my time in Bordeaux?
KLF can find several types of accommodation for you ranging from family homestay to residences or hotels. One of the most popular is French family homestays which are provided by KLF and help increase your immersion. Ask Lea about all possible options for you.
