I was there for three weeks. It was a fantastic experience.  My teachers were experienced and empathetic and I learned a lot during this time. I just spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks learning French at KLF in the beautiful City of Annecy. My teachers Karin & Aude were excellent and they provided a very enjoyable environment for learning the language, I cannot recommend this school more highly. The only thing I would add, is to check what week you are joining a course as they run for eight weeks and if you arrive at Week 6 as I did you do miss the basis of what is being taught. Exceeded our expectations!  A phenomenal experience. We had interactions 3 teachers and 2 administrators. Everyone we met was helpful and encouraging. The teachers are amazing and the best!  Quite adept at instruction and engagement. I was particularly impressed how they ensured every student was advancing, whatever level they were at. Would 100% do this again. I very much enjoyed the Senior French Immersion Program.  The classes and the instructor were excellent.  My stay with a host family was wonderful ! The classroom was overcrowded, with desks and chairs arranged haphazardly. The air was extremely stuffy, the fans didn't have enough space to run properly and were noisy, the monitor almost blocked half of the blackboard, and the electrical wires at the front of the classroom were a mess. The classroom environment was my biggest disappointment. There were only two toilets, which were simply not enough to use during breaks. The overall space planning definitely needs a serious overhaul.

I spent six weeks of my summer here, and I couldn’t have chosen better.  The school was very organized and the staff communicated with all of the students—including me very well.  They provide homestay or very affordable housing options in Annecy, which is one of the most beautiful and somewhat expensive areas in France.  It’s ideal for nature enthusiasts like me.  Their classes are very well organized, and all of the instructors are enthusiastic and care about their students.  Although my instructor, Gladys, was newer to teaching, she spent a lot of time trying to tailor the class to all of our interests and really cared about us as students.  The school also provides many activities such as weekly drinks, paddle boarding, hiking, visiting the beach and local museums, and city tours to socialize with other students and make you feel welcome. We just had a great week in Ifalpes.  Annecy is a beautiful town with lots to do and see.  The school is nicely located a walking distance from the old town and the lake.  The administrative process was easy and friendly.  Best of all our teacher leandre was excellent.  Very engaging, supportive, and encouraging if participation.
