Objectives:
DELF A1 exam is designed for absolute beginners. At this level, you’ll learn the basics of French, from introducing yourself to understanding simple phrases in everyday situations. DELF A2 certifies that you’ve reached an elementary level in French. More Information
Anyone interested in certifying their French language skills can take these exams. Whether you’re a student, professional, or simply a language enthusiast, there’s a DELF or DALF level suited for you. No prior qualifications are required to register.
DELF is for levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. The DALF is for levels C1 and C2.
The exam is divided into two parts: a collective written test lasting between 1h20 and 4h, and an individual oral exam lasting between 10 and 50 minutes, depending on your level.
Both DELF and DALF are valid for life! They are state diplomas recognised throughout the world.
Great news! Once you pass, your DELF or DALF diploma is valid for life. It’s a lifelong certification of your French proficiency.
